Is this bulb ok for a refugium(pic)?

s this bulb ok for a fuge? I got it at Menards
It has a kelvin rating of 2700
They also make a 4100 but its only 25 watts where this one is 40 watts.
If not what should I get?

Sure, its "ok". You'll have to try it to see what grows well, though. That's a pretty cool temp, though. Most macros are likely not to thrive. I think I'd try the 25w in a better wavelength first--more watts going into a light that can't be utilized isn't an improvement.

(I assume that you have a reflector to direct as much of the light downward into the 'fuge, right?)

I agree the 4100 has a better chance. They have the light/america buld almost everywhere. They are 65W and burn at 6500.

I havent seen that one..is it called Light America? Would they have it at Walmart?
