If it still has polyps and live tissue when it can recover. I think I can see polyps in the video but it's hard to tell.

Looks like some type of maricultured branching montipora.

Clip off the tips where algae is growing and move the coral to an area with less light and a little less flow. Confirm that you alkalinity is above 7.0 and it may heal up. :)

Not unless you somehow kill off the algae. Stony corals need a relatively clean base to grow onto. You need to trim the coral such that no algae is present.

I checked again today and the coral has still polyps, although they do not come out. I will start by brushing of the algae. If that doesn't work I will try trimming the tip. Even if that will make the coral look super ugly-weird.
