OK this is the first I have had of any coral like this.

Would you call this die off?

There is nothing near it and nothing has any tenticles to affect it either.

What should I do?

Everything else is doing good.

Worm5406,
I'm sorry I can't say if it's a die off. but this is the first I've seen you not include all test results, temp etc.

I've seen your posts and believe that you keep a good tank. Sometimes it's not your fault.

LOL.. OK...

I just got done with lights out for three days. I first noticed this before the lights out though.

I have had this about 1 month. Dipped when I got it in coralrx.

I did have some HA on it that I blew away. You can see some on it still though.

I am treating with algaefix.

But again I noticed the deadspot on the far side before I started treating the HA.

I have handled it by hand and had to put it on a frag plug my self.

OHHH and I have NEW growth on this:

All the little spikes are NEW growth in the last month.

What is the green thing to the bottom right of the first pic? It may be getting stung.

It is not close. It was the way it looked.

This frag is on the right of the frag rack.

It is right at about 10 seconds.

This one looks like those green palys are killing that spot.

That other spot just looks like it was damaged somehow and some algae is growing there now.

Everything else looks happy so I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it begins to spread.

Ohh they are WAY off... Just the angle of the picture looks like it.

I am going to dip it in coralrx again and in peroxide.
