Is this Frogspawn ok?

Got a frag of some pink tipped frogspawn about 5 days ago!
I put it 1/2 way down in my tank (tank 30" deep) with a nice med. random flow.
Does this look like it's ok? It closes up at night ( I thought it was supposed to get bigger at night),
and never extends more than what it looks like in the pics by day.
I was told it would take awhile to acclimate to my tank...but how long should that be?
I don't want to hurt it, and would really like to see better polyp extension, any suggestions?

I agree. It looks quite healthy but I'm not sure its frogspawn. It looks more like bubble to me.

Its a hammer, not a frogspawn, frogspawn have small end points with multiples on one arm.

And it looks fine. They shrink at night and get bigger in the day.

Yeah it looks fine. The polyps will extend more over time. And yes it is a Hammer.

That's what fogspawn looks like. As for your branching hammer, it looks fine, if it starts to retract and melt where the flesh meets the branching skeleton, then you would be in trouble.

Your hammer is looking great and i would not worry about it at all, its beautiful.

No wonder it doesn't look right to me....!
I bought it as a frogspawn but, after looking I agree- the tips clearly
are little hammers.

Yes, It's a branching Hammer, and the polyps get smaller/narrower at night, just like frogspawn. Looks great to me.
