is this good for ocellaris?

it is a BTA, bubble tip anemone. and while they aren't a natural host anemone for ocy clowns most will go into them. it took mine 9 months but they found mine and now never leave it. don't force the clowns into the anemone though just let nature take it's course, may take a day or may take a year if they ever do decide to use it. either way it is a nice looking anemone, good luck.

I have two black saddleback clowns that will defend their bta's to the death... Or better said, the death of my hand while cleaning...

Also no worries about the skimmer. I don't (nor will I ever) have a skimmer. I have an Innovative Marine 40. My original rose bta is almost five years old and from that little guy, I now have three more. And just to give you a bit more peace of mind about going without a skimmer, there was an acro grow out competition on ********* and all the folks without skimmers won the competition...myself included.
