Whats better lighting for a anemone,

the red sea max 130 stock lighting or a 150watt HQI lighting.
( i already orderd the 150 watt HQI ) But i dont need any more lighting with that right ? The HQI alone is good enough for "all" anemones ?

Im getting tommorow my second hand life rock coverd full with nice bubble tip anemones ( more then 20 i counted ) So i want the best lighting they can have.

And yes its going to be a anemone only tank.

I bought these anemones ( the white one with purple tips i already have for 2 years ) ( it used to be brown but i hope with better lighting and the fresh water +new stones she will be big and brown in no time )

( the lighting will be changed because this is still the stocklighting of my red sea max ) and 1 of my red sea max flow pumps just made some strange noice and stoped flowing so i need to wait till my boyfriend gets home to help me sort that out.

Anybody knows what kind of anemones these are ?

These anemones and rocks where in a display tank at the aquariumshop. In the show tank their whas a couple of other anemone fish aswell. I might have taken their eggs with me..... :hmm2:

First off, what size tank is it and more importantly, how deep is it? It's hard to answer this question without knowing the measurements of the tank.

You can keep most anemones with that light (depending how deep the tank is) but don't try to sustain any intense light demanding anemones such as Heteractis Magnifica and Stichodactyla Gigantea. Those need very bright light and of course high indirect and direct flow respectively.

Well if you read my post you see i talk about a red sea max 130

I can also buy a 400 watt metal halide lamp or HQI ( way easyer)
But isnt that overkill for a red sea max 130 ?

So 150 watt HQI or 400 watt HQI with both lamps 10.000 ?
Whats the best thing, on this moment i have around 20+ Entacmaea quadricolor and 1 condy
