I have this Australomussa. I haven't seen the polyps come out in 2-3 days. Today, the center hole has opened and stays open, as well as one smaller one on the left.
Is this normal?
I have been keeping this about 3-4 inches off the sand, since I was told by the LFS that it needed low to moderate light. I get 1200 PAR from the 6 X HO T5 new bulbs and about 200-300 on the sand with my Milwaukee Luxmeter. It doesn't look like it has shrunken or changed colors since I bought it. The second attached picture is my tank. My Australomussa sits at the same level as the Lobophyllia seen to the right in the first picture.
Do I need to move him up some more?
