Is this normal?

When I first purchased my BTA it was a deep green. Soon after the purchase, the color had faded to a pink color. I have the GBTA under 180w MH lighting. Anyone else experience this? My aviator is a picture of my actual BTA. Thanks for your time.

Mine bleached out a little when I first got him too. It is likely that he came from a less well lit tank and has a larger colony of zoox than it needed in your tank. It will likely start growing more and build back more of the zoox over time. That is what happened with mine over the course of a month or so.

The only thing that is weird about the situation is that the loss of the green coloring was over a year ago. The anemone has been pink or almost a purple ever since.
