Is this normal?

Hi all, I saw these in my weir and was wondering if this is normal. I'm guessing they're pods of some sort but theres quite a
lot of them. Tank is 150L and around 5 months old.

Pineapple sponges...Totally normal, harmless and beneficial..
Their population tends explode in a new tank then die down..
