Is it possible to put oyster in the tank, I mean the fresh oyster from the market. I don't really want to keep the oyster but I want to keep the stuff that come with it such as Acorn Barnacles.

You can always try it in a 10 qt tank first and let us know. I would think there is a temperature diff. that will kill the oysters or barnacles. Well unless the oysters are from tropical areas like the corals, I don't think it will work.

Most of those animals living on the shells are filter feeders and will be hard to keep alive for very long if the temp doesn't kill them first.


I'd still buy the oysters though MMMMMMMMM.
