Is this red bugs?

I really need to invest in a camera, but for now these are the best pics I can get. Is there something eating my corals, or should they always have spots like this on them?

Coral number two.
The birds nest seems ok. These are the only three sps I have in the tank.

Yea they just look like they are browned out and in a new tank maybe? You can defintaly see them with your eyes if you know what they look like. You can see them moving around.

I believe I can see what you're inquiring about, looks like a retracted polyp to me. Happens from time to time. You will know when you have red bugs, tiny little red specs scurrying around your coral.

cant tell...if you look very close at the coral you will be able to see them move around with the naked eye..just look very close..

I think they must be retracted polyps. I thankfully don't see anything scurrying. They are browning out. I thing my lighting may not be right for them. These are test frags to see if I have the right tank for sps. I'm ok if they lose color but keep growing. If they don't grow and start to look sick, I will rehome them. So far, birdsnest does well in my tank, but it looks like these guys don't. The polyps aren't out that much which made me suspect red bugs. I did not dip them.

Red bugs don't really affect bird nests IME.

Buy yourself some cheap magnifying reading glasses. They work really well to help you spot red bugs.
