Is this tubing safe to use?

Hey guys, I decided I wanted to run the outlet of my RO unit from the bathroom where its mounted along a wood rafter on the ceiling over to where the stand is, I bought this stuff at HD the guy assured me it was safe to use I called the company that makes it and they told me there is no rating but it is safe to use to grow organic. Anyone know if this drip irrigation tubing is safe to use?

I would look to use a polyethylene tube. It the same stuff you used t hook up your RO set up. Home Depot sells the tube or you can get it online

I wouldnt use it, i would be scared of stuff leaching out of it. I would bring it back and replace it with an icemaker tube.

I think it would be ok,it's just vinyl tubing. The density of the Dig brand is a bit softer material. I have some and tried installing a RO/DI fitting and it does leave a deeper mark and was more difficult to get off

Fully cured vinyl is fine really, but the lower pressure rating would be concerning. I'd stick to HDPE.

I really wouldnt use anything that is not for potable water

not safe, not rated for high enought psi and have anti oxidant added
