Is this Whitespot?

My clownfish started showing signs of whitespots last week. I have been treating it with whitespot treatment and lowering the salinity. I posted pictures on a local forum in Australia but have had mixed answers. Some say it is whitespot and some say it is not. The only reason i think it is not whitespot is because the fish seems to be covered with it in the morning and in the afternoon it dies down and there arent as many spots. What do you think? What other symptoms? Is this a wild caught Clown? Does it just have the spots or does it appear to have a white slime on him? Does it look like its pealing at all?

What are you treating it with? Looks like it could be Brooklynella, hard to tell .formalin dips are the treatment..Take a look at these pictures

If its ich, the Clown [and the rest of the fish] needs to be removed to a qt and treated with Hypo OR copper

Here are directions for formalin dips

my clown has ich.. what is formalin and where do you get it at?

The Formalin is to treat Brook...Not a good med for ich.
Copper or Hypo is best for ich

my clown had some white cotton like tuffs on him and I have done two formalin-3 dips and the tuffs are going away !!!
