I am looking for a snorkeling provider in Islamorada. Any recomendations for a good ship/service.

I'll assume that we can't take fish or inverts while down there?

I am also looking for a nice moderately priced resort down there.

Hi

I've never booked in islamorada, but if you're looking for a great an inexpensive place to stay, I can recommend you one in Key Colony Beach. The island itself is beautiful and I always stay there when going diving. The place is called Continental Inn and all the rooms I've had were very nice and clean. It's kind of a studio, with living room and bedroom with two full beds, a bathroom and small equipped kitchen. Back when I was snorkeling, I've had a good experience with starfish snorkel in Islamorada and with Bahia Honda State Park (great place to spend a full day, it's one of the most beautiful places in the Keys IMO). In Islamorada, snorkeling with Robbie's Marina was great, they take you to Aligator Reef which is very shallow during low tide, just perfect for snorkeling. Check my homepage for pictures from those places. Hope that helps, if you have any more questions about what is worth seeing in the Keys, lmk.
