Isopod......I think????

Moving on Up
OK so my female crosshatch has been in QT since May 2nd and cupramine ranging from .25 to .50 since May 12 (don't ask about the fluctuating copper level)....anyway there is a thing the size of a large grain of rice attached to her top fin. I had a friend come over and look at it and he thinks its an isopod. It has a nice oval shape to it and is gray in color. It never leaves the fish.....Even when the lights are on. I thought copper would eventually kill it but not sure whats going on.....Anyone have any expierience with these things? What can I use to get rid of it???? I can't get a picture to come up clear enough so a picture will not come out...

I've never dealt with those myself. If it is big enough you can manually remove it.
I would have thought copper would have killed it as well, how long have you been medicating? Another thing worth a try would be a freshwater dip, as most inverts don't like changes in salinity.

Keep up updated on what happens.
