Iwaki pump lifespan?

Hi everyone,

I bought an Iwaki pump (one of the smaller ones) and ran it in my 72-gallon reef for about a year.

Then I took everything down because I was leaving the country for a year. I cleaned everything well and it's in climate-controlled storage.

Question 1: How long are those Iwaki pumps good for?

Question 2: Does anything need to be done to it before I put it back in my system which I will set up soon?

Question 3: If parts do need replaced at some point, how do I do that if it's my main system pump?

Before storing the pump, it would be a good idea to use the shipping caps on the pump ends. Put some RO water in there to keep the seals wet.
If you have your reciept, I believe they have a 2 year warranty.

Well since they are magnetic drive, probably not much.
