Iwaki Pump Washer?

[all-apologies]

Is there supposed to be a washer in between the impeller chamber and the inlet/outlet piece of plastic that connects to it?

I dont have one and i am getting a slow leak where the screw-on inlet/outlet piece attaches to the main pump assembly.

Also, where can i get this washer?
