JASON'S 28g nano cube

I have been a member for quite some time now but have only posted once or twice. I started of with with 28g cf quad nano cube but have since updated my hood to the 89w led pro hood. About my tank
20lbs of live sand.
Around 35lbs of live rock.
Vortech mp 10.
Stock pumps
2 next reef mr1 reactors one with carbon and one with GFO
In tank media basket


Fish are a pair of clownfish and a coral beauty
Inverts are bunch of snails and crabs, coral banded ship, star fish, arrow crab,
2 bubble tip which was one but has split.

Corals are taro tree coral, pulsing Xenia, watermelon polpy,pink , orange hammer, frogspawn,red mushrooms, green striped mushrooms. I do have a couple of corals coming on tuesday.

Was using the jbj nano skimmer but Really didn't like it so so I will purchased the aqua max hob skimmer. Believe that is the name

My beauty doesn't bother anything. He is really good but I have had him since it was very small

Have a new shipment of corals coming on Tuesday from spikes corals. Will post pictures then maybe I can enter tank of the month

So I had my lights on for 10 hours a day but this week I went to 12 hours a day. How long do u guys keep your lights on for

I keep mine on for 9 hours. Due to heat transfer to the water. But that'll change once I get the raised mounts on the hood to add space. ? Are you using the stock return pumps or did you up grade

I run my lights in "peak" mode for 8-hrs a day, which doesn't include sunrise/sunset which is at a greatly reduced intensity.

i am using the stock pumps but with the vortech mp10 didnt think i really need to upgrade. If i did upgrade was thinking about getting the max jet 1200
On a happy note my shipment from spikes corals came today and the corals look great. i could not be happier. they even gave me two free corals a hollywood stunner and a green cup. will post pictures once i place the corals where i want them.

Like your new corals! They'll add lots of color. The ricordia do well in my tank. , at least they did before my most recent fiasco. Your tank is looking very good.
