Jawbreaker/mushroom help

2-3 weeks ago my jawbreaker, purple and red mushrooms shriveled up. I've tried moving and feeding with no luck. Last night some rhodactis suddenly melted as well. I have yuma and bounce that are both doing fine but I'm starting to worry that whatever is happening to the other shrooms might effect the bounce as well.

Params are all in line (I had AC double check last week as well). As a precautionary I added a new bag of chemipure elite last night.

Any thoughts on what might be happening? All other corals are doing well and thriving. Thanks.

Where are you locate? I have the same issue but I found out bounce shroom are seem to stronger than JB. If your water are inline then check the flow and light. Shroom does not seem like too much flow and direct light.
I suggest put the JB that you think having issue into a container with some rubble rock, then put it in the conner of you tank where it does not have too strong flow but have medium/low light.
Btw, I have that problem too but the method above help me to save some.

I am in Berkeley but all my RO water comes from Aquatic Collection. I moved the JB to the corner frag rack away from strong flow and light. Its been there for about 1.5 weeks with no improvement.

Something tells me there could be some chemical warfare happening in my tank that is only effecting the mushrooms.

it used to be extended bigger than a quarter now it shrunk down to nickel size. moved it to my 180 to see if it improved things (has a bunch of other disco shrooms) but nothing changed for weeks. the bounce shrooms in my 28 gallon where the jb is currently are happy and fully extended

That's sorta like my situation but worse. Mines was about 1.5" fully expanded and now its the size of an eraser head that's all shriveled up. I'm surprised its not dead yet but its fully attached but just wont open.

Do you test TDS for your water from local fish store? Some time they dont change the filter, Once time I got RODI water from fish store and TDS is 15ppm. I got my own filter after that.

I don't. Generally have never had issues with my water from AC but ill check tonight! Everything else in the tank seems fine, which is led me away from TDS related issues but its worth checking!

If you have the second tank you can try to move it to that tank, if not find a near by reefer that you can ask for help to house this shroom for few week to see if it can get some improvement. I can help you on that but I too far from you. I did this some time when I have problem with my tank.

Check for total chlorine might have some chloramine in it that's causing slow decline in coral health.
