Anyone seen any yellow headed jawfish for sale in the south jersey area (or have several looking for a good home)? I'm setting up a 93 gallon single species tank, and I'm looking for residents.
I usually see them for sale at aquarium center in blackwood, if they have none in stock they are fairly common there and i'm sure they can get a few in for you.
You may already know... with those fish you need a WELL FITTING LID, like 1/4" mesh, as they are notorious jumpers. They will find the smallest opening and carpet surf! Such cool fish though.

Very familiar, yes. I have 1/4" mesh and no gaps greater than 1/4" anywhere around the perimeter, and the overflow screened to death. I have spent more time than I would have liked over the years fishing jawfish (and others) out of overflow boxes.
