Jedi Mind trick monti must taste good

So, I got a really nice Jedi Mind Trick monti today and put it in the tank. It was looking great with nice polyp extension shortly after I put it in. About an hour later, I noticed a huge red leg crab tearing pieces of it off on the edge. He was taking chunks of it off. I think the crab was a mithrax crab. He was red with white stripes. I left him in there because I thought he would be ok. Yes, you noticed I said was. I tore apart the tank in search of him. I think the monti will make it. Be wary of the crabs. Any similar experiences?

doesn't sound like a mithrax crab. i think they are either all green or all red.
