jelly fish???

I have this thing that looks like a jelly fish. It is very small, maybe a little over 1/8 th of an inch. So has anybody ever heard of anything that might look like a jelly??? I will try to get a picture posted but it is really small. If I had to describe it I would say it is about the size of the head of a fan worm. Its bulb just keeps fluttering as it moves in the water. I have it isolated now to look at it and keep it from going in the overflow but whatever it is I don't want it to die. any suggestions about what it might be or what to do with it?

If I can keep it alive, I am bringing it to the meeting tom... I figure if I put it back in my tank it will probably just get taken in the overflow.

I had 2 in my tank, at least sounds like what you are describing, but both are gone now.

is it square looking can you see things hanging from it or is it to small to see

you can see it pretty easily... its round though. In the center on the inside of the dome is a little sack.

great links... It was actually there. Apparently it is a Scyphozoan Jellyfish. Thanks a lot... sadly enough I left it in a jar on top of my fish tank back home so I won't be bringing it to the meeting, my brother had to put it back into the tank. Hopefully it will be okay.

good news... I just got back into town and the jelly fish is still puffing its little way around the tank...
