I added some mushrooms from Eddies, and I also added some frozen reef food DT's oyster eggs, and a few other things with a small piece of live rock like 2 weeks ago. TOday I look in the tank, and see a 1/8th of an inch big jellyfish pumping maddly and swiming around !

Coolest thing I've ever seen come outa no where !

I'd take a pic, but it is so small I can't.

Any guesses as to the species ?

Cassiopia is a the "upsidedown jelly" I've heard that there is no long term survivability due to dietary constraints. Is it still around?

Crafty, did you buy one ?

If you did, they need slow water current, and tend to sit on the bottom and utelize bright lights for Photosynthesis. Hope you have halides. They will eat particulate matter and frozen foods also.

I haven't added anything new to the reef tank in awhile, and today out of the blue I found one of those jellyfish in my tank! It was cool! I got a couple of pics (not sure how clear they are) and will post them tomorrow. I did a little research on them, and there are people out there who set up tanks especially for them....lost track of mine though, hope it shows up again so I can show my son
