Jellyfish Tank

I was wondering if anyone in the memphis area had one or any experience building one. I've kinka got a wild hair to build one, but there seems to be little info out there on this subject. Also what species are good to keep in warm water? Most tanks I've seen have moon jellies and they live in water about 55F wich would need quite a chiller.

Oooooh! Cooool! I've thought of that too, but it's $pendy.

(YES, you WILL need a Chiller. That's likely the longest pole in that tent, cost wise.)

There was thread here not too long ago discussing this subject. I'll see if I can find it for you. Main things I remember are is that the tank needs to be a cylinder and you need some type of flow to keep the jellyfish from touching the glass/acrylic.

"Coral" magazine volume five number three and volume five number four as well as "Pet Product News" February 2009 has articles that you would find useful. "How to Keep Jellyfish in Aquariums: An Introductory Guide for Maintaining Healthy Jellies" by Chad Widmer the senior aquarist for the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

I found several sites and it looks like the esiest system is a kreisel. Kinda cool idea I thought and I might play with it if I can stir up the cash. Anybody have a good DIY chiller plan that it tried and tested? Oh and on the cheap side too?
