July 21st Speaker (Drum Roll Please)

Pretty disturbing. If you read this article you will get the same information that we got live.
Article

After the meeting, I did a lot of looking around the web. There is a bucket load of information regarding the acidification of the world's oceans. If you took a graph of the drop in the oceans pH, and superimposed it onto a graph of the increase in the world's population, and a graph of the increase in carbon dioxide emissions (especially as more country's become industrialized) the trends are the same.

I wasn't able to do much research on Ron's faunal extinction scenario...but what little I did come across sure corroborated what he was telling us.

If Ron's right, and the coral reefs basically die of in the next 20 or 30 years, the ramifications are damn scary. Remember that in many ways the reefs act as the ocean's nursery. What sort of affect will it have on the ocean's fish population as a whole, and what impact will that have in the future on the terrestrial ecological balance...which includes us.

Damn scary!
