Hey guys, I dind't know wether I should post this in the gardening thread or I should start a new thread and ,obviously i chose the latter of the two...
Ok, a little background might be helpful. I am a big native plant person. I love them and can't get enough of them. We live in the woods and really close to Cherokee lake and have a cabin in Claborne or claborine or however you spell it. Lol. Being so close to the lake (and being in the woods obviously) makes it a good habitat for native plants. We already ahve several very desirable native species, but we also have some very undesirable species as well. Some of those "undesirable species" include poisen ivy and poisen oak. Both of which I am highly allergic to. I am getting ready to start working on eradicating all the poisen ivy using organic methods and encourage desirable natives to grow. Here are a few pics of the woods behind our house that i plan on tackling:
