all corals have to be dipped before going into the frag tank so please show up early or on friday night so we can do the dipping i will bring the dip. You seen a list of what i will be bring i need to know how many people will be useing the frag tank and how much you will have if anyone has a hang on skimmer small one we can use that would be great.:fish2:

If I have frags that I want to trade then I need to have them dipped? am I correct on this? I can't just show up and wander around with them in bags offering them for trade/sale right? Sounds like a dumb question I know but I'm trying to get the protocol correct?

you can do that if you wanted to. The dip is to insure that no nastyies get passed out since there is going to be 4 or 5 peoples corals in the tank. I may not even dip them i may just dip mine at home. but your more welcome to use the club tank as well reef dude.that way you dont have to hold them all the time lol. I dip my frags before i sell anyway just in case you never know what could come on a frag.

Reef_dude and everyone else: Reeflover is talking about corals going into his tank at the swap. His dipping policy doesn't apply to you or anyone else not using his tank. You are free to trade as you wish.

To ETRC members: I'll be bringing the 20L again this year per request so that those who do not wish to dip their corals (including myself!) do not have to. I consider dipping the buyer's responsibility, not the sellers. Thanks to Travis for providing that option for those who want it.

I agree with Joel. I"d dip anything I buy before putting into my tank, even if the seller told me they had already dipped or garunteed no pests, so why double dip..

yeah i started thinking about that so never mind lol we will just put them in the tank and let the buyer dip sorry for the confusion
