just a stylo?

i picked this up a few weeks ago. it was in the corner of an lfs tank, looked like a pretty dull coral not much color but i got a really good deal and decided to buy it. a few weeks later it is not the same coral. neon yellow tips (yeah my camera isn't great) and growing like a weed (none of those tips/points were there when i bought it). seems to be stylo or birdnest style. i'm used to stylos having thicker branches. these are thin like a birdnest but the growth doesn't really look as much like a birdnest

It could still be a Seriatopora sp. "Birdsnest". Can you get a close up pic of one of the branches with the polyps retracted?

thanks. i'll get a pic tonight. i am starting to think it is a seri. guttatus after those pics and recent growth changes. do any stylos grow with very pointed tips? i was out of town this weekend and after getting back and checking on the coral i am pretty sure it is a birdsnest. when i left it was stubby blunt type ends, now they are super pointy like a birdsnest. this thing is growing insanely fast. going to be a bush soon. very cool coral

i take that back. after reading more, guttatus doesn't have pointy tips. it looks a lot like a seri. stellata or aculeata
