Just being proud...

I just wanted to post this pic of my 16g.
This is my first saltwater tank and I am really proud of what I have accomplished. The picture is bad but what the heck :) Enjoy.

Tank looks great, u will up grade tank size in no time, I started small one I have a 90gal reef and a frag tank in the basement, this hobby is addicting. Keep us updated

Thank you guys! When I started 8 months ago I didn't realise how much work, patience and creative problem solving was involved. The tank is by far not comparable to other tanks I have seen out there but given time it will be. Although I think in our hobby you will always want to tweak, upgrade, move, add, remove something LOL...
It never stops, does it?!
Happy reefing everybody!

Nice! I just started an IM 16 gallon as well, and am sooo antsy to finish my cycle and put corals/fish in already!
What were your first corals added and supplements for them used? I want to add a Christmas favia from my LFS in time for the holidays and will have a Kessil a150w for lighting (Cf will be placed on the bottom). I would love some Xenia and a Hammer too. Thoughts on these additions/placement/feeding?

The Nuvo is an amazing tank! Congrats!!
I started with some zoas and a toadstool. I have since then removed most of the zoas and the toadstool. I currently have some LPS (Frogspawn, trachyphylia, favia and 2 small can frags) and added some SPS corals lately.
Ive never had any Xenia so I can't help you with that. The frogspawn and the trachyphyllia sit on my sanded, everything else on the rocks.
When I started I bought the inTank canisters instead of the ones that came with the tank. I have phosguard and activated carbon in one and purigen on the other. Both canisters have floss on the top for detritus catching and the 2 inner compartments have Sachem Matrix for added surface for the bacteria population.
