Well first there are a couple of species of black clowns. None are a mix of anything. There is a Black Ocellaris and a Black Saddleback and a few other rare clowns not known to the trade. Asking where they get their black is like asking how a hippo tang gets its blue. I dont think anyone can answer that.
 
I'll hazard a guess and say that somewhere along the line there was a clownfish with a genetic anomaly that caused the black and white color morph.
 
I'd be more inclined to say that the Black Ocellaris clowns developed their black as a result of hundreds of thousands of years of adaptation to their specific environment.

Something along the lines of the black coloration was better camouflage against predators.
