Hello!
All this time I have used reefcentral, I had no idea this Iowa forum was here. There are people in this hobby who live in Iowa! I just can't seem to find anyone. I will have to check this sight more often. What a wonderful find!

Yep, I was happy to find this section as well. Welcome aboard!
There are lots of good people here that have a lot of knowledge and seem to be willing to help others whenever they need it.

Lots of good deals on equipment and frags come through here as well!
 
Yep there are quite a few members in the CR/IA City area. There are also members in the QC area, wloo/cf, area and des moines areas. There are a few more scattered throughout but that's where a good majority of them are located.

THanks so much for the info! Have any of you been to the "Sea of Marvels" fish store in Coralville? (I am sure you have.) Anyway, I hear he has opened his new store in North Liberty. Anyone been there yet? I am checking it out Monday. Back in the fall he told me all the plans for it and it sounds like it is going to be awesome with a touch tank as well. I have to work this weekend, so I am going Monday.
 
My wife and I live in Marion. Nice to see another person in the area. My name is Patrick and I am one of the trustee's in the area. We are going down there in about 30 mins.
 
Yay!!!! Another female reefer, yay!!! Welcome Christa, I'm in Riverside, about 45 min. south of you. There's lots of reef nuts around these parts, hope to see you at one of our upcoming events
 
Wow, I haven't found any females into this since I have been doing it. I have been looking for some! My husband isn't into it like me, It's pretty much my tank, although he enjoys looking at it. I am planning on going to the conference in Chicago June 1st. I have never been and I can't wait! Where is Riverside? (I am not originally from here.) Thanks for all the welcomes! Wenszoo, what did you think of the store?

the store is awesome. It is NOT crowded like the old store. more than 2 people can be in an aisle at once. He said next week he should have all the tanks full. I plan on stopping there after the meeting.
 
I was thinking about swinging in there after the meeting next weekend as well. It's right off 380 right?
