Just hit the jackpot.....Kinda

is the polarize glasses check the best way? my 46 has a "tempered glass" sticker, but i dont know if its just the bottom or what. I dont see any etching or stickers on the 90 gallon

Polarize method is fine for checking. I would rely on it moresp than some sticker that maybe absent. Just be sure to rotate the lenses around alot and check really good. It's easy to see when it is and if your to quick and fast to dismiss easy to overlook. I suggest testing ob two known pieces one of each type. Car window is tempered. Not sure what you likely have that is not.

I forgot to say, sweet score! I recently acquired a 60 gallon with a stand, sump, some reef rock, and a bunch of extra stuff for free...the catch was that I had to adopt her big freshwater fish, that the reef rock had been outside for a while, and she refused to empty out all the gravel so I had to get a big tank that was 100lbs heavier down 20 or so stairs with a sprained knee. I could barley walk for a week but it was worth it. Lol.

Are you keeping your old tank or moving stuff over? I had a cycled 30 gallon and moved everything into it. It did a mini cycle that lasted a week, but my snails and hermit crabs survived.

well, I have a 46 gallon that is in the middle of the cycle.... I dont know what i'm going to do honestly. I just got the 46 setup the way I like it. I intend on keeping them both so i'll probly just keep the 46 as it is, and build out the 90 as soon as my RO/DI filters come in (tomorrow). I still have to go pick up the stand from the kid... didn't have enough room in the yukon last night. Hrm. should I theme the two tanks? what are the trends these days?
