moved my reef tank from NC to MN and it took 3 days.
i lost a few corals but for being in breathable bags for 3 days, most things did alright.
the tank is going through another cycle and i have the ammonia reading at 1.0 and no nitrite yet. i have not tested anything else because things were fine before i left.
i assume my clownfish is suffering from ammonia burning but i dont know for sure. last night he was swimming fine and full of life, today he is swimming in one spot at an 45 degree angle and is breathing heavy. also appears to have a white film on the black rim of his tail.
i have had this clownfish for 4 months without health problems and have not added new fish in this time either. nothing new has been added to the tank in the last 2 months either.
for now im doing 2 liter water changes 2-3 times per day, the tank is 10 gallons.
