Just picked up my first clam

It's a small one and I'm worried about feeding it, do I need to direct feed it with phyto? Or just add it to the system? And how often does it need to be feed?

i would not squirt anything in or at a clam. strong lighting is the most important ting. what lighting do you have?

I have 500w of MH over a 75g, right now he's on the sand bed.

I'll get a pic, through the glass it's a purple and bright blue color but from above it's almost all green.

How often should I add Phyto to the tank, that stuff is kind of expensive to be putting it in every day.
