Just purchased MSX 250 - Hints or Tricks for Set Up?

As a follow up "From Good to Great", I upgraded my skimmer to an MSX 250.

Any tricks of the trade from you guys that have them for set up and getting the most out of them?

they work best in a sump that has a constant water level of around 8 inches.if you sump does not have a baffle to maintain 8 to 10 inches on the skimmer side they can be a bit finicky to get stable.other then that they are a good skimmer and pretty energy efficient
