The colors are actualy that bright in my tank under 2 x 250w HQI 14k and 2x 96w 03 actinic PC'S.
Yep its aptasia. I have some wild caught peps on the way to cure that problem.
These are mutants! LOL! Joes juice, kalk paste, boiling water, lemone juice, lime juice, youname it dosent phase them.
Little bastages are about to meet their doom in the way of wild
collected pepermint shrimp soon!
For those that dont know wild collected pepermint shrimp are 99.9 percent more likely to eat aptasia then captive bred.
Reason being is that the captive bred pep's do not recognize the aptasia as a food staple where as the wild caught pep's have eaten it all thier life and were "tought" to by thier older pep buddies in the ocean.
So if your gonna try peppermint shrimp to rid your tank of aptasia make sure you know they are wild caught
