Just some anemone pics

I was taking some pictures over the last couple of days. As I was editing them I noticed something neat.

Notice anything in the right hand corner of this shot? :) (( the lights were off and took it with a flash ))

Another shot if the same anemone -- really like the color of the mouth. In the 9+ years that I have had it never noticed it before. Now, if the clowns would just stop fanning the sandbed and ticking off the anemone.

Picture with the Clarkiis in it.

The Clarkiis "yelling" at my flame angel

A new Haddoni that I picked up from a fellow reefer. (( right now I have it covered with some egg create -- my blue face angel likes to sample this one --- leaves the tan one alone, think the Clarkii pair has something to do with that. Might move it to another tank ))

My blue Haddoni in my 58, with a mated pair of pink skunks. Need to get an updated picture of my solid green one in this tank.

And lastly a couple of my LTA in my cube.

Top down (( this was when I first put in the tank, moved a bit after this shot -- has still in the new spot. ))

With the clowns (( used flash, so colors are off ))

Thanks Gary. Pretty happy with all of them. Thanks for looking.

I really like that first picture -- where you can see one of the Clarkiis through the Haddoni.

Wow! The blue haddoni and LTA are just wow!

I'm not normally really into percs, but if I found an onyx pair like that, I could definitely change my mind. :D

Thanks. The blue has been with me for 2-3 years now. Love the thing. And the LTA, I had no idea it would look that good. When I saw it at an LFS, I was just happy that the foot was healthy.

Funny enough, I was indifferent towards Percs, until I saw that pair.

Oh! I was looking in the lower right hand corner. Now I see what you were talking about. Very cool.

Yea, it is hard to see at first, but the longer I looked at that picture I started to notice the one Clarkii behind it.

Ah, is that was that is! I saw it but at first thought it was just a light reflection or something...very cool

I feel your pain with the clarkii's fanning the sand, mine did it to my LTA, constantly digging up the foot which caused the nem to move constantly looking for sand to re-bury itself...very frustrating. After a year of battle, I traded the LTA for a BTA since they prefer the rock work...funnily enough the clarkii didn't try to fan the rock :D

Great pics!

Very cool indeed!

Funny enough, back when I had BTAs in that tank, they didn't do it either. As much as it annoys me, I would never get rid of those clowns, since I have had them for so long.

LTA with percs thats just awsome percs are one of my favorite fish and anems are quickly outgrowing my love of sps.

Thanks. Yea, seems like I go in waves as to which one is my favorite -- SPS or anemones.

Took some moonlight pictures last night of the green striped Haddoni, not the best since I had to get a new tripod and had to use a longer exposure.

Thanks a lot.

The blue one gave me a scare a couple of weeks ago -- it spawned. The reason it scared me is that it was right after I had the main pump fail while I was in the hospital (( salinity went up, and the temp down, lost my Potter's angel pair )). Still doesn't look as good as it did before the failure, it is looking better each week.

One of the pics of it spawning.

Hspawn1.jpg

When I first got the striped green one my blueface and flame angels were picking on it a bit. So I put some egg create over it, which seemed to work. Well, about 2 weeks ago I removed it, and haven't noticed it being closed at all. Think I finally found out why,

Can see the flame angel behind it -- the male clarkii is now spending time in this haddoni, along with the tan one. Him splitting time hasn't seemed to have effected the pairing of him and his mate, they spawned again a couple of nights ago.

And here the male is a bit higher in the Haddoni, and can see the angel starting to leave. :)
