I've used some tips from this forum to improve my skills and had some nice results...here are a few....KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE BEING SHOT WITH AN HP PHOTOSMART 733

Take lots and lots of pics, film is cheap and digital is cheaper. Sharpness is key, digital images straight out of the camera tend to be a little 'soft'. Crop for effect, isolate the subject of your shot and concentrate on it to bring out the subtlest of details.
