I'm just getting rid of my freshwater fish and starting a saltwater tank don't have a clue what I'm doing can someone walk me through it step by step to get this thing on a roll I would appreciate it?

Honestly, there are many ways to properly set up and maintain a reef or saltwater tank, depending on what you want to keep in the tank.

First questions is, do you just want fish only (FO), fish only with live rock (FOWLR) or a full blown reef tank?

If you choose full reef, then the next question is what types of corals and inverts do you wish to keep?
