Just thought I would check in

I Don't know when the last time I was here, but my tank needs an overhaul. Last water change seems like 2 years ago. A couple of fish are still in there from way back a purple tang and a hawk, corals are in need of better water conditions. I am guilty of old tank syndrome (owner loses interest), anyone ever get to that point. My tank I guess has faired ok, well not really I did lose a clam but not sure if that was water or what. My corals while they have suffered finally stopped dying when I stopped fooling with the water. The softies seems to be doing ok and spreading slowly. The stonies need some attention in a bad way, I am going to attempt to find some time maybe sunday afternoon to get the tank back right and start doing some 5 gallon a day water changes till things start looking better. I have learned that one of my issues was probably over working the tank. As it has pretty much ran itself lately and fish are fed rarely, its been like that for well over a year I am sure. Currently the tank just needs a cleaning. Well I am through with confession carry on...

To all my old friends sorry to have been a stranger I hope you guys are treating your tanks better.

A lot of us have been there and back, your the only honest one..... .Glad to hear that your losses are minimal. Think of your reef/ecosystem as a crock-pot and not a microwave, let it stew (at least until hair alage flourishes), less is sometimes better, etc. .
