Hey there. Here are some pics of my 180 gal tank. I got the tank for free because the overflow had popped off and the owner didn't know how to replace it.....lol I win. SO I built the stand (and still haven't put trim on it) I came by 250ish pounds of dry rock for 50$ from a deceased reefer. I also built the sump (My first try ever) I am currently battling flow issues and am working to add more.

Lighting is 3 250W 20K HQI pendants
Skimmer is SWC 200 xtreme
CL is a barracuda
Return pump is an Eheim 1262

Thanks. Amazingly it is stacked like that with no rods or adhesive. It is pretty sturdy too lol. Like a jig saw puzzle ;)

:dance:Congratulations that is what I would call being in the right place at the right time. Now I just need to find my place so I can get started.

Thanks for al your nice comments guys. I have a long long way to go before I am even in the same league with many of the tanks here.

You might find that your skimmer will work better if you make a stand for it and let it sit in around 8" of water. I had an SWC and they are great skimmers. give it a try, its easy to make a stand, just use a piece of eggcrate and some pvc.

BTW, I like the way this 180 was made, looking good

Yes a local reefer passed away from cancer and his family wanted everything out quickly. I didn't have much cash as I had just bought my skimmer, but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It worked out to something like .04$ a pound. LOL

DRPO- I should have taken an updated pic. I did put a skimmer stand on it after that photo.
