When I turned on the light in my tank today I was very pleased to see (after staring at my tank for 20 minutes) that A tiny blue starfish maybe only 2 or 3 mm in diameter was placed in the middle of some purple coraline algae. This is awesome since it is only a tiny starfish with brilliant colors of blue i'm hoping it will stay small for a while! My Tank is only a month old and am happy to report my Cycle was over in less than a week and my LR is covered in coraline already, I'm hoping to get pictures up soon!

Sounds nice. I'd like to see a pic of the starfish. Is it really blue or is that an effect of actinic lighting?

it is definately blue, comes out on one rock late at night and so i see it everytime i turn on the lights, as soon as I get a digital camera i will post a picture asap-

THYATS COOL...WISH ALL THE LITTLE BABIES I SEE IN MY TANK WERE VARIOUS COLORS...I HAVE AT LEAST 10 LIL ORANGE ONES ABOUT THE SIZE OF DIMES AND ONE THE SIZE OF A QUARTER...WISH I KNEW WHAT KIND THE ARE?
