My brother is looking to start up a reef and was wondering if anyone was in thinking of upgrading or just getting out of the hobby. I think he wants something over 125 and ideally reef ready and with all the things needed to start up and go.

Craigs list is a good place to look also. If you dont mind the drive check out the Toledo and Columbus Craigs list's as well. Gives you more options...

There is a few tanks on craigs list right now....do a search in the cleave craigs under aquarium, saltwater, or fish tank...

Hi,

If they are new to the hobby they might want to start with a fish only tank and then when they get more experience go into corals.
To buy a full reef set-up might be a litfle overwhelming to a beginner. Don't know your situation but just thought I would offer my 2c worth.

i got my 200 off craigslist , and it was one of the best buys i could ever ask for , had to go to Lansing Mich to pick it up ,,when your on craigslist , be sure to check out Detroit metro area too ,,, they have a lot of stuff up there , and its not that bad of a ride to save a few hundred bucks!
