Posted this in my local club forum but figured I'd share w/ all of you too since I'm on an SPS binge...

The tank upgrade has finally happened!!! So far haven't lost a single thing [knocks on wood w/ both hands]

WAAAHHHHOOOOO!!!!

So I was bored at work and the boss let me leave at noon. After looking at the running 125 for about 10 minutes the decision was made. I'm not waiting for the weekend. Started the process around 2 and finished around 9. Not too shabby compared to my time spent on the 72 in the past. Also, Mr. Sixline was returned to the LFS in exchange for a more diverse snail population and my lawnmower passed last week so fish are now: 2 Swallowtail Angels, male & female mandarin pair, a firefish, 3 Green Chromis and my Hippo Tang.

And... here are some pics. I have 3 layers of screen on top so the light is a bit subdued for the time being.

OK, yes the sps are brown but they've been under 260watts for a few months. Guess I'll have to post pics once the >1000watts take effect to appease ya'll in this forum.

Cool looks alot better than my low populated sps 75g. I have been adding a few more, but just small frags. I like the height and width of that 125g. Color looks good too...

Very nice, I just setup a 125 SPS myself, I like your rockwork better

Thanks:)

In the past year I finally developed a knack for aquascaping. It's all placed like a jigsaw puzzle well enough that when I shake a rock from many angles it doesn't budge.

I'm considering walking around w/ a sign soon that states "Will aquascape for frags."

Didn't use anything... A lot of the pieces that I had in the 72 were quite large and everything fit together quite well using nooks and crannies like puzzle pieces. When I mounted the frags I pushed down quite hard and not even a wiggle... :)

Now I get to sit and watch everything color back up and grow. Heh, might be updating w/ pics next year around this time...

nice rockwork.. Will look great when you start getting some grow out going...

I once drilled rock with a Masonary Bit and ran PVS through it to create a shelf.. If I can find those pics I will post them

Cool... I always love seeing the framework ideas people have for their rock.

BTW, every time I see your avatar I giggle... your cat doesn't look too pleased... reminds me of the look on my cat's face when my sister and I used to dress her up in Cabbage Patch doll clothes many years ago...

What are the dimensions on your 125? It doesn't look like a standard 6'. I like the aquascaping, its a very nice start.
