have been just add to my top off water container but after a while seems to mostly settle to the bottom was thinking of buying a very small powerhead to keep mixed? how is everyone adding it to there system, and is anyone using kalk reactors and would they recommend them brand ect.

Im curiuos about all this as well. I was told to skip the calcium reactor and go with just kalk instead. So im tagging along.

No...you're missing the point.
You want the kalk power to settle and to add the clear solution off the top.

When you initially stir it, the kalk saturates the water. What is not dissolved into solution, settles to the bottom....add more fresh water, stir it up again, dissolves some more....repeat....

I use a Geo kalk reactor and it uses a Maxijet 600 to stir (I do it once a day).

I made my own kalk reactor and just need to refill it with Kalk once every two weeks. Works great. I just saw motercyclefish's DIY kalk reactor and I think his is a better design, simpler. I would take too long to type it out here, email your number and I'll call. In the mean time, I'll look for a DIY website for such a reactor.
