kalk Question...

I have decided to try dripping Kalk for my topoff water. After reading several articles, I mixed the first batch last night. I understand that you should siphon off the liquid, but leave any solids behind. My question, is the liquid supposed to be clear???Mine seems to be cloudy white when seen through a clear bottle...

I use Seachems Reef Kalk. Mine stays cloudy all the time. I dont sweat it.

should be cloudy and have a ph of 12.0
