Kalkwasser Reactor Workshop

Thanks Dave,
I am going to order enough for two extra kits just incase other people did not see the new deadline and wanted to attend.

For the extras - did you get the larger kits or one of each?

Also, I think Marine Depot has the pumps for a good price.

Drs. F&S have them on sale. Also Acropora Tony C Reef Exotics has them. email him to bring them to the meeting if you need pumps.

I am trying to do two of each kits to have as extras. I am expecting the tubing in next week mid week.

Thanks to everyone who came to the workshop today. It was awesome to see all of the parts come together to make a great finished product!

Thanks to Eric Melton who did an outstanding job getting all of the parts and was a great teacher to us. He really took the time to make sure we all went through the steps as a group.

Russ & Craig - thanks for your moral support and for assisting, too!

See you all soon,

--Dave--

For our first workshop I think it went very well.

Dave thank you again for hosting this workshop and the bagels/refreshments you provided. LIRA's new PR guy Craig and my son Ryan for taking our bagel orders and serving us.:D
Special thanks for those who participated. If you have any questions on setup or problems you can email me emelton@lireef.org

Just wanted to say thanks again to Eric for setting this workshop up and Dave for hosting. It was nice meeting everyone.:)

It was a great workshop.............

Thank you Eric for making sure we had everything needed. Thanks to Dave for being 'such the host'. Pyro--I felt like I was sitting next to the A student in class.......

Cool Posted pics!

For those of you there--you will understand......R Diva should be on Her way, when DGen gets a chance to make it happen. until then -- everyone else will have to wait.

So when is the next workshop?

what are viable choices? we can take a poll maybe?

I say a calcium reactor.

Zoa- I am no where near being a A student in this hobby, it's just that I have been spening alot of time doing plumbing & connection with the new tank.

Has anyone picked up kalk yet? Just seeing where you are ordering from. I am thinking of going local as it doesn't make sense to order 1 item.
