Hello, I'm posting this new thread in hopes to finally clarify which Kangaroo 324 pumps can be modified for reef dosing and which cannot.
I have a Kangaroo 324 manufactured by Sherwood. It has blue and grey/black control buttons (vol, vol clr, "up arrow", "down arrow", start/hold, dose, off, on) and has an alarm volume control on the back. This pump CAN be modified as shown here:http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=454928&highlight=kangaroo

I also have a Kangaroo 324 pump manufactured by Tyco health care. It has blue & green control buttons (vol, vol/clr, "up arrow", "down arrow", start/hold, vtbd, off, on) NO alarm volume control on the back. I have NOT been able to find a way to modify this this pump to make it reef ready.

There are Kangaroo 324 pump that are advertised "manufactured be Tyco" that look identical to the Sherwood manufactured pumps BUT I have not been able to verify if those circuit boards look like or if it can be modified.
Does anyone have a Tyco 324 kangaroo pump that has been modified for reef dosing? Please chime in if you do.....

I ended up purchasing another Kangaroo 324 dosing pump made be Tyco health care. The face of this pump is identical to the 324 made by sherwood.
The insides are identical as well and was able to mod this pump to be reef ready.

So to the best of my knowledge both the sherwood and tyco kangaroo 324 pumps can be modified for reef dosing as long as the face looks like this and there is a volume control on the back of the pump.

For the tubing and pump set I found......Not sure about linking a web page so.. goggle reefdosingpumps for the pump, both 2 channel and single channel sets are available at a reasonable price.

I hope someone finds this info usefull......

I know it's been a long time, but I just bought the Tyco 321 with the blue and green control buttons and just saw this thread. Did you have any luck with modifying that one?
