keep it quiet

Congrats!!!!!

Do you have a "Spousal Unit"?

If so, wait until you surpass the $1600.00, $1700.00, 1800.00, ETC...ETC

I paid 300.00 for my tank, stand, and light....Now it is about $2600!!!!! I am trying to convince her now that a calcium reator is cheaper than dosing!!!

???????????????????????????CLUB QUESTION?????????????????????????????

Excluding RENDOS (sorry Richard)...How much do you have in your set up????

Wow, I don't keep up with what I spend and I'd hate to know what it was if I did. Just the tank, stand and lights were about $900. The real money starts adding up when your buying rock, fish, corals, salt, maintenance items, etc.

I passed the $1000 mark in reef expense today :hmm6: shhhhh!

Amateur! ;) Call me when that first number is bigger than a 4 or 5!

Congrats!!!!!

That's why my wife Indra is "œTHEE (original) $pousal Unit". She pays the bills and SEEs the Invoices. I'm (just) in charge of Production. :hammer:

According to my master "Buy-Sheet" I did when I was assembling the tank: $5,416.83.... roughly. (But that was just the Cap Ex. Meaning: NONE of the on-going operating expense is in that number. :hmm3: Like: Fish. Food. Salt. New Coral.

I'll just say that nobody has more invested in their system than i do.
THAT doesn't count! That's like saying, "œI like it so much, I bought the Company!"

hey, marty
just buy 2 drews dosing pumps and 2 timers and dose your 2 part that way---much cheaper( set the timers for every 4 hours@ 8 ml each time)

Dolphinman, thanks for the books they are awesome.Spent my day off learning about inverts, also the wife loves them because she doesn't read on the net much.

I dont even want to know what my total would come up to since Ive been in the hobby. I think I need to go sit down Im feeling dizzy, lol.

Preston,
I'm... really not following you mate.... (And I don't really dose. My CA2 averages 528 ppm, and my KH averages 173 ppm.)
