keeping a skunk cleaner with a fire shrimp

Recently one of my cleaner shrimps died. And one is left. I was thinking about replacing that shrimp with a fire shrimp. But I am worried that they will fight, and one of them gets eaten. I have a pretty large tank. Its 80 gallons, 5 ft long, and 1 ft wide. I searched the internet, but some say its ok, and some say they will fight, so I am confused.

I don't think you'll have any problems in a tank that size. I had two cleaners, a fire shrimp, and a coral banded shrimp in a 60 breeder for quite awhile without any issues.

I have a 5ft set up also
and keep both species, without noticing any issues
I have had 2 of each, but lost 1 cleaner, so now have the other 1 with 2 fire shrimps

they seem more likely to go out of their way to avoid each other in my set up
when their paths cross, one or both tend to shuffle off in a different direction

I have had a skunk cleaner (Jacques) since day 1, and added a fire shrimp (Cousteau) about 2 months ago. Cousteau immediately chased Jacques out of his place. Admittedly, I was very light on rock with about 35 lbs. in a 75, but with only 2 fish.

I added another 40 lbs. of rock and they both seem much happier. My recently added Kole tang also became much more active. I think part of it is the security of having a bunch of hiding spots available.

If you have a good amount of rock, I think you will be fine.

I dont see any problems, get a turkey baster with some brine shrimp in it, and stick it where they usually rest, they like to climb around it and wait for some to come out. mine came more social and active when i started doing that.
